One of my pet peeves: Art teachers that can’t or won’t keep their marks off my work. Any “corrections” they want to make can be described to me and chances are I can fix it better than they can, seeing as it’s MY work and therefore will be in my style. Also, I tend to have a light hand when I draw, so if it’s in pencil or something similar they end up leaving great, crude, unremovable marring graffiti in a nice obvious place. *snarl* I literally wanted to bite my art teacher today when he did that. On a crosshatching work too! So I had to erase and then fix all the lines he went and scribbled over. –w– A note for all art teachers out there: if you absolutely CANNOT restrain yourself from marking on your students’ works, at LEAST carry around a great roll of transparent paper to put over them and mark on THAT instead. Or at least ask first.
