You guys are crazy. I can't tolerate more than 2-3 hours in a sitting. And these days I'm lucky to get 60 minutes in a row.

yeah, it's definately less these days - maybe 2-3 hours max after the kids are asleep, otherwise an hour here or there is the best i can manage

I'd be interested in kowing whether or not many of these gaming binges are regular or if they just show up when a truly great game surfaces. I know that I rarely play a game for hours even if I really like it. It takes a certain type of game to glue me to the screen for hours on end(this is sadly getting rarer and rarer though...).

I had a bout of the flu when Wizardry VI came out and played pretty much nonstop for three days, drifting in and out.

quite the eclectic collection really, FPS, TBS, RPG and Car sim .... did like Dune 2 and C&C RTS's but did have the binges with them

I'm not sure on the time spent at once, but I'm sure Magic the Gathering Online aka "drug" has easily stolen most of my time.

I think the longest for me was Final Fantasy 2 (English version), which I finished in one sitting. 40 hours or something like that. I had to fit it within the weekend while the parental figures were gone :).

I still play pretty long sessions sometimes, but nothing like that, even if a good game does come out.

Well sadly console/pc/ect games never really caused me to do the marathon gaming session. Of a night (while I work) I am constantly on the net, in front of a computer maybe that is why. My favorite is with actual people...like pen/paper stuff. It's more about the atmosphere then the game tho. I think my longest marathon in that setting was 12 hrs. They continued I think for like 36 but I was dead to the world after that lol. I am a lightweight.

Single player- Might and Magic 7 and HoMM 3.

The second time I start MnM 7 I was on front of my pc for 2-3
days, just taking some rests for food and sleep :-p

Heroes 3 also make me stuck on my pc many hours. Even after
so many years if I decide to start a new map maybe i will spend
10-12 hours and the sick is that I will not understand how :p

Mmorpg- Lineage 2

Spent sooooo many hours with this damn mmorpg, and most of them
are 10-12 hours on a raw...yes I know...it's sick!! :ill:

Thief 2.
It was about 12 hours. Then 6 hour sleep, and more 12 game hours.

I like it when the game designers calculate this addictedness into the game...

Baldur's Gate: "Please remember that while your character does not need to eat, you do. We don't want to lose any dedicated players".

Championship Manager 4: "Just one more game, I promise...", "I am not a real football manager, I am not a real football manager..." etc. etc.
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.

Well, I think my longest consecutive playtime was Super Smash Brothers (for the N64, that ancient artifact :-D). I played it about 10 hours straight (to my defense, I was like 12 when I did that). Good RPG's tempt me though. I've gone six or seven hours straight playing rpg's like Diablo (1 and 2), Baldur's Gate (again 1 and 2), Fallout (1 and 2) and Tales of Symphonia (beat it twice, New Game+ rocks :-D).
