its hard to choose between h2-h4, they are all about the same.

h1 looks weak(never played h1, dont know if he was weak too).

but i dont get the point of h5 genie. what has he got instead of his head? whats up with the hands? and genie heroes dont look like that.

i take h4.

My opinions:
H1 genie - IMO it looks stupid
H2 - my second choice
H3 and H4 - look almost the same but I took H4
H3 upgraded - my 2nd choice
H5 djins - don't like those hatheads with massive hands
I am back and ready to... ready to... post things.

I like the H3's lower body whirlwind the best, but the male's hat doesn't look that good, so H3 Genie gets my vote. Her clothes i like.

Voted H1 genie - somehow I like this "flying fakir" with lighting (and 10% to kill half of enemy stack).
Next is H3 Master genie
At the end of my list of genies are these from H5 (both).

in every homm kill-half-the-enemy-stack is on different unit.

kings bounty it was demons

homm1 it was genies (as i now heard)

homm5 it was death knights (never seen one, only read)

and some people say death stare is outbalancingly good ability.

HI is not a genie, it's a human. No option there.

HII and HIII master genie look the same.
HIII genie and HIV look the same (HIII is slightly better).

And the HV genies seem to have gotten into the path of a titan by accident, judging from their non-existent heads. And those ridiculous hands ... :disagree:

So, since i prefer the HIII genie over its upgrade, the choice is clear:

HIII unupgraded.

I like the HoMM II one best :)

1 looks a bit to human like.
3... I just don't like it. looks so much weaker than the II one... and no 10% kill half :D
4 is the same as III except the lower part and I don't like the lower part to much... To white and glitering.
5... 8| :ill:

Vote Heroes 3
The Heroes 5 versions look like they were cross-bred with Headlesses from the Ultima games.

I guess I'm the only one who likes the H5 djinn sultans. Although the in-game one doesn't look very nice, I think the high-def model of the djinn looks incredible.

I like the mystical markings all over it's body, I like how it is covered in jewels, and I like it's arabic style clothing and sword. The strange hat could be improved to show it's face a little more, but I don't mind the large hands because it makes it look less human and more like a spiritual being. If the in-game one looked like the high-def model, then I think the djinn is one of the best looking units in the H5 game. It's one of the very few H5 monsters that I actually like.

And is that blue furry thing coming out of it's hat supposed to be his hair, or is that part of the hat?

H2 Genie for me. And for the record, "Djinn" aren't necessarily always genies; they are a type of demon, but they are bound to the whole "wishes" thing. I don't consider them full-fledged genies, though.

You do know that genie is just a changed version of a djinn that appeared much much later?

Obviously, the Heroes 5 version is the best looking genie-model ever, with that intriguing hat obscuring the creature's face, with those large powerful hands, classy earrings and feather...

:lolu:

Voted H2. Never saw the sense in a genie wearing clothes.

I chose the Master Genie of Heroes III. The whirlwind and the clothing does it for me... his little Genie sister would be my second choice however, as (surprisingly) is the Heroes IV version. I don't like the other versions too much - the Heroes I Genie looks too human; whilst the Heroes V Djinns look too inhuman (and ham-handed). The Heroes II one just looks like he's doing a hula-hoop trick.

:)
