What difference does it make if the abilities are the same or not?

When the abilities are different the abilities are different. Simple as that. If DL want to deferentiate them by that he can. Simple as that.

So if he's not deferentiating by ability, why does it matter that they're different?

Voted: Archer from Heroes III.

I'd anyday choose the stylish white-and-blue Erathian Archer uniform over any other Archer uniforms with armour or without it. The Griffin standard looks so cool. Besides, it may be that the H3 Archer wears some kind of armour beneath his Roayl Erathian Military uniform.
Don't worry if things are going badly today. They will be much worse tomorrow.

I was considering voting for the Heroes III one, but the Heroes V one just looks so much better. For a start, it doesn't have the same damn uniform as almost every other creature in its town. The Heroes III archer looked too much like the pikeman.

Oh, and I like the way the Heroes V archer pouts. Gives him character.

I went with the HoMM II archer, just because they are women. :-D Also, I don't think armour is imperative on an archer.

So were they in H3. It was just the upgrade that was male.

Do I detect a note of sexism in some of those upgrade choices? ;)

You mean the upgrade being stronger and therefore male? ;)

Also note the uproar against a male upgrading to a female in the Nighmare's case.... :devious:

It did, until they changed it to the gender neutral Hell Charger. Stupid name.
