I understand that to solve this problem you have to go to the extra settings and set off the box that says "Improved Pathfinding". With that the creatures will move in turns just like in vanilla.

Hi,

found a minor issue with the game (nothin serious or gambreaking).
In snergles Ironmines in Mire of the Damned you get the Key to Snergles Chambers when freeing the steward from the prison.
I got 3 keys (3x the same)

also sometimes, when an opponent drops an ingriedient, the grafic of it is way out of proportion (found a wolfs eye the size of a dwarf recently)

Yes, some of the ingredients are too big. I fixed that in the "MM7Rev4modR1 Redone". I am working on a remake of that mod. It will be some time before I am finished.

hi,

found another thing worth mentioning (dont know if its from rodrils merge originating or not) :

sometimes when in dialog happens inside a house (teacher, or anyone else) and you click through the options way to fast, the game is gonna hardcrash to desktop.

I do not know what you mean by options. When I go into a house all I see is topics.

It is probable a merge original problem. I never encounter that problem because I never went through the topics that quick.

hi dave,

another thing from which i dont know its original merge or not:

the armsmaster expert (the gong guy), master/gm (winston squire) are all located in free haven - so far so good.
but now they all live on elevated platforms (gongguy near the council and winston near the training hall) and cause that is unique in your redone merge, with that i dont know if its cause of the platforms or already original merge, why they dont show on the townmap as teachers

In the original MM6 and MM7 the teachers did not show on the maps. This merge was done with MM8 and it would require extra scripts (that I do not think they were done) to show the teaches for MM6 and MM7 maps part of the merge.

hi dave,

there is an updated pack availiable (end of august 2022) from the main thread, which maybe could fix some of the former mentioned errors.

maybe you wanna consider using it in an updated version of your merge on nexusmods/etc. when you find some time to do it (maybe there even is a chance its less work for you, when using it)

quick edit: when you release the 5th character and you try do to do it with the 4th, somehow now the first character gets the bonus, so 2,3,4 will never get it

It's not going to be easy to update to the latest Pack. It's going to take time. Right now, I am working on MM7Rev4modR1 Redone Ultimate. Almost finished.

hi,

i recently found a "cycle of life" ring while looting dragons.
since in the original merge it is a present from V to your chars after her quest, i asked cthscr first.
he thinks its maybe a change in rnditems.txt from your mod that made this happen.

if its intentional for your mod -> all is good; if not -> i am hereby bringing it to your attention :)

Are you sure you install the mod correctly? You are supposed to install "MM678 Merged Redone V2.0" first. Then on top of that " Patch4MergeRedone V2.0" second. And last on top of that "Patch two for MergeRedone v2.0". Overwriting everything as you apply each patch. Before uploading, I play the mod all the way to the "Breach". I compared the rnditems.txt of the two games. Nothing was changed.

yes i did exactly that way.
it only happened once, so i was not sure what to do with it.
i mentioned cause in mm8 there are some special items (they are called that, when you find them and do not count as mm8-artifact/relic - who knows why ...) - noblebone for 12k, druids crown, etc. - so i thought maybe wrong category or such.

i will have an eye on it, if it happens again, i will contact the main thread again - there has to be some explanation if the files are the same.

It is original merge bug. It did not bother me. I just when and bought the seashell from the NPC. :)

got a hard crash in Tower 9 @ Deyja.
When i drive up the elevator in the middle it either occurs when riding up or at the top.
I think its either those automated fireballs that you get as a "greeting" there or the liches/necromancers have summoned to much ghosts (but im not sure what it is, only wild guess)

Yes it might be because of the summoning of ghosts. GrayFace fix that with the new extension and editor. Go to "Chaos Conspiracy Redone Enhanced Ultimate" on the second page and scoll down about have way. Go to the last three or four posts and read carefully.
