MM8 Redone

The mod is finished. This mod was created with corel draw, blender, and GrayFace Tools. See Pics: Double click on the image for a large view. Here is the link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing All plants, trees, Rocks, Reagents, rings, Shield, Gauntlets, Bows, Crossbows, and books. Have been replaced with HD images. HD images would not have been possible without GrayFace Patch. Many new models have been created with blender for the game. There are eight more quests. A few extra monsters (inspired by Echo's Monstrosity) to play with. The game has GrayFace patch for creating the party. There are bats, dragonflies, sharks, and goblins from Might and Magic 7. Amazing, can't wait for completion! :)

Oh, and btw @DaveHer, you might wanna to update your monstrosity modling version for MMMerge, because they opted to put mm8 maps into "mm8.games.lod" and so your conversion doesn't work when just dropping the files in, have to replace both original games.lod and "mm8.games.lod" with modified ones.

Are you saying that the monstrosity that I made compatible for the MMMerge does not work any more? The way I made it is to apply palettes from the MMMerge to the images of the monstrosity. If the palettes of the MMMerge have been changed then it will not work any more. :( Palettes have to be applied one at a time using corel draw. btw Thanks for the compliment.

These look fun! Good luck continuing.

The Monstrosity for the Merge conversion wasn't really working for me when I tried it a month ago or so, I had some texture funny business :(

But I've remade the palettes and adjusted them for merge myself. If you want, you can find it all here together with what's basically my modling 2.0 merge edition: https://www.celestialheavens.com/forum/10/17343

Thanks for the compliment and the info. When I made the monstrosity compatible with the MMMerge, I use the first version of the MMMerge. It is obvious the the palettes have changed since then.

The mod is almost finished. There are going to be monsters from MM7 in this mod (bats, dragonflies, and goblins). This was possible because of GaryFace. Thank you GaryFace. Going off Dagger Wound Island is going to be a little hard.

The mod is finished. I will need a couple of days to set everything up and upload to the two web sites. The strangest thing about the mod. The sound for the goblins did not work in Dagger Wound Island, but it did work for all the other maps. The sounds for all the other monsters do work on all the maps. I decided to put sharks into the game and you know where you will find them. You are going to receive a warm welcome when you enter Shadowspire. :D lol
