Which Legendary to build

I want to build up another Legendary and am in doubt as to which one is worth it. Looking at my stable below..

Which one would you invest in next and why?

Some considerations:
* Mostly using Astral Watcher, Frost Giant, Forest Giant, Lich, Oathkeeper
* Mostly lacking buff/debuff
* Use is primarily in Dungeon Defense and Expert Quests
* I have 10 yellow Leg essences in stock
* Yes I have 3 Kirrins. No I will not invest in them

- Raiju I hear is quite fantastic, but you need it FA I think.
- Stego is a fantastic boss during blue weeks.
- Megalodon is a great nuker, and the fatigue debuff in awakenings helps for long battles in deity.
- Desolator I hear is also great.
- Cyclop is the new atk meta, I see more and more players using him, prolly because it counters green nymph so hard.
- Colossus still very strong in both atk and def.
- Kirin remains the best healer in the game by far...

Thanks. Raiju seems a good choice. Awakening brings 3 team cleanses and the final one a 40% protection buff. It does seem a bit Jack-of-too much-trades, which is why I was saving my yellow essences for something scary like a Sphinx, Worm or Giant.

Never thought of the Fatigue debuff for attack. Interesting.

In my opinion Raiju is a better creature than all three you mentioned. Giant is never bad choice but rather generic (tanky and stun), worm and sphinx are both squishy. I didn't have the opportunity to play with a Raiju yet but as I understood he feeds mana on death. So with green nymph meta it's perfect, you want him to die!

From these which I know,
Desolator is the way to go.
In Dungeon Defense it makes
nice sense.. :p

Thanks Pol. I plan to build a Desolator at some point. Though the ones I encountered were a bit underwhelming.
Did you ever face a scary one?

Of course, hence my recommendation.

You need to know, why you can defeat them easily. For me the ideal prey is Phoenix and I would't be against it.

Desolator is both great for atk and defense, so wouldn't be wasted to invest in it anyway.

IMO given your creatures the most effective team you could come up with is

Kirin / Astral / Hunchback / Dracolich / Desolator

With assassin tomes on rezzers and mystic tomes on 3 dots. This should be very strong, although during dark/white weeks a dualcolor dark/white team can be a double edged sword. I do it though, but I bring white nymph along Cerb.

White/red teams also seem very popular now, like

Kirin / Astral / Troglodyte / Cyclop / Desolator

If you really don't want Kirin and are stuck with Druid as your sole cleanser maybe you can pair it with Green Giant.

I'm still curious how the Raiju works in practice, sadly since I have no first hand experience with it I cannot recommend you much tactics, all I know is I see players using him and passing through my strongest dungeons with it.

Nice. Isn't Dracolich 175 mana req a problem? I probably should be using cleanse again. Currently just suffering through stunlocks. Really too bad my units refuse to work with Kirins :)

Depends, depends. Consider higher luck buff and gold protection enchant - in the first slot.

You can funell 5 x 4 x 10 mana in one turn. If no extra mana for kills is involved, neither other boosters.

So, it's certainly doable! :P

Not sure I would plan according to gold enchants before I can afford them (so basically until I have castle 30, keeps at 30, and shrines of the colors I use in attack at least above 25). If you get bad luck you will just lose a lot of resources and slow down your progression.

That's interesting, how the discussion is having one side common nominator, that's being "White Nymph".

As for "wait for castle 30" I would advise against is, as resource pool is fluctuant and usually allows you to get some (even gold) enchants 'along the way'.

Currently I'm farming the same resources required for Gold enchants to upgrade my keeps and shrines.
Enchants are way more powerful than anything kingdom has to offer though..

Galaad, is castle lvl 30 worth the rush?

Yes, moreover so if you plan to gold enchants on your legendaries. That is my opinion. You can get super lucky and get what you want first roll but you can also get a crap enchant 20 times in a row so you better have enough resources or it slows you down serious.

Before getting to caslte 30, I first advise that you get all shrines and keeps at 25, that is short/mid terms in pvp efficiency.

Just like I think rushing the mines early is a mistake, I can't find the time but I plan on making an updated guide for this game.

Thanks. Yes, castle 25 was definately worth it.
As was getting wood/ore to 30 first imo.
Or better: wood/ore to 27, then castle to 25, then w/o to 30. Though that does require lower PvP expectations for a time :)

I have all keeps and white/dark shrines at 30 with castle at 30. My mines are at 25.
Merchants are your biggest income, not mines, and there's a great difference with castle 30.

Merchants at lvl 25 give about the same as mines at 30. Merchants cost resources though. I can currently only just afford the ticket merchant and only by taking the 20d/150t special each day.

Even after prioritizing wood and ore, they still remain the main limiting factor
