New Homm3 multiplayer up for grabs!

Unread postby Braxen » 01 May 2006, 11:18

Hey! I´ve got a new Homm3 map if anyone is interested.

It´s a large 4-player multiplayer map w. small underground. Balanced.

I´ve submitted it to psychobabble...don´t know how long it takes before it (hopefully) makes it to the map-archives.

If you can´t wait that long, here is a link to it...

Let me know what you think!

Best regards

No comments whatsoever?
:tired:

Would be nice to get some credit for spending several hours trying to make a good map that´s fun to play.

:D

Nucleon shall try your map and he shall report too, most generous Braxen.

(A few moments pass...)

PS: Say, Braxen; Nucleon tries to dowload said map, yet all that he's got with your link is a htm image.

Is Nucleon erronous in any way?

Hi and thanks for the welcome and recognition! :)

I´ve actually been around these forums for a couple of years, but lost my old username & stuff when they revamped the site.

I too hang around mostly in the Homm5 forums of course...since that´s where it´s all going down!

See you on the battlefield!

Best regards

Erik (Braxen)

Looks good for me, I may host it as well. Or you may upload it here yourself ;)

Classical one, huh?

Have fun and please let me know what you think.

Got an XL-multiplayer map coming in a few days aswell...but I guess we all will be occupied with Homm5 when that day comes ;)

Do you really like my map or are you being ironic? :)

Pretty hard to know what people want in a map. Me and my friends only play hotseat or TCP/IP multiplayer, so the criterias we want are:

Balanced - doesn´t have to be "identical" areas of lands, but overall pretty balanced creature, artifact and resource wise.

"Normal" amount of artifacts & resources. Too much or too little is no fun.

Not being under direct threat for the first days. Not very fun to be slaughtered on the 3rd day. :)

Any other suggestion that you guys like in maps?
