My antivirus scan reports Trojan.GenericKD.3148995+(B). after I installed Equilibris. Anyone else see this alert at all ??.

Re: Trojan detected in H4mod.exe
No idea if we have the same versions, but my (3.5Equi, 6.56MB) is having md5sum:
For check you may use WinMD5Free
And it's completely OK.
Code: Select all

And it's completely OK.

Re: Trojan detected in H4mod.exe
Never had any trojan or any virus reports with Equi files (using v3.51).
Where did you download it from?

Re: Trojan detected in H4mod.exe
My F-Secure Internet Security reports the same. Equilibris v. 3.51 (H4mod.exe) is being reported as a "Generic Trojan". It seems my F-Secure Deep Guard doesn't trust the mod being that innocent.
Don't worry if things are going badly today. They will be much worse tomorrow.
Re: Trojan detected in H4mod.exe
So, check the md5sum and if it's identical the file is OK and your AV is doing false alarm.
This is not so surprising for mod, the file was downloaded from here.

Got most of the files from the CH site, a few years ago.

Re: Trojan detected in H4mod.exe
It's a false-positive report. The way we change the code is very similar to what viruses and trojans do to infect applications. Smart antiviruses learnt to look deeper, not so smart raise alarm right away.
