This is Ivan's Council not Shadow Council, they are two different things.
Shadow Council is name for Ubisoft's blog, while six Griffin Duke personal aides are Ivan's Council (and they all are ventriloquists too ;) ).

Yeah but the one is named after the other, so ...
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.

Is this a screenshot from the telepathic conversation?

It's not telepathic, it's been done with the speed of light, hence it takes 0 time for the conversation to take place.

Funny how it is The Shadow Council when I can't see their shadows.

I'm more fascinated by that map. Looks like living.

Speaking of shadows... where the heck are they? :| The lady seems to be with her hands on her knees, but she could also be holding air, for a fashion.

The map might be more animated than all of them combined.

Limbic ought to look at this. It's what a modern game should have. The characters' mouths and faces change with their speech. Hands, feet and body language are all animated.

Grim Fandango is 18 years old by now, but still looks fresh. In contrast Limbic's Shadow Council stillshot looks like something from the last century. Hello guys, if you don't want to animate, can you at least draw to 1920x1080 resolution so that it looks artistic?
