I hope I put the right number of 'n's in 'finished'.

Did I say that I like the campaign? If not, I'm saying it now. Otherwise, I'm repeating it now.

And here are some saves from it. You may find the replays of those turns interesting. I guess if someone recorded the last one (and perhaps the some of the other ones, too), you would be interested in hosting it, Kalah. It shows the unique gameplay of this campaign very well (the main hero gets some movement for every battle he wins). If you pay attention to the green movement bar, you'll notice that he was close to running out of movement at least a few times.

I'd like to read how you break Astral Romance (another Duzeom's campaign).

Congratulations!

I am happy to read that you liked the campaign! :-D
The Three Trees are dead end I presume, but maybe, maybe I will incorporate them in new chapter.

@Taro
I think that exploits are inevitable. I must take all the mention bugs and fix them... but fixing is so annoying - I would rather make something new!

@Kalah
Does screenshots of new hosted maps/campaigns will return to main page some day ? It would be fabulous :yes:

Yes, we're working on our map section. It'll be a while, though.
In War: Resolution, In Defeat: Defiance, In Victory: Magnanimity, In Peace: Goodwill.

I was thinking about implementing a new skill, something like RUSH in Memory Crystal. I want to be called Persuasion. I don't want to copy a mechanics of charm or diplomacy. Do you have some idea what Persuasion skill could do?

Are you asking anyone in particular? Or just for ideas in general? I have a custom skill that I will be implementing called Cleanse, which only works in certain instances against certain creatures types. If the player fights against an AI undead army which has units of nature type (which in the story are not undead, just corrupted), some of them will be "Cleansed" of the undead corruption (removed from enemy army and given to the player's army) before the battle.

I guess it depends on what you were envisioning for Persuasion. Is this for thief heroes to persuade creatures to join before battle? Does it maybe depend on the creature type (less savory creatures more likely to be persuaded)? Different creature types demand different payment (money, resources, other creatures)? Is the Persuading done by the hero beating the creatures into submission so that only a fraction of the persuaded creatures are able to join (others perish)?

I was thinking about giving some resources (gold, gems, sulfur etc) to your opponent neutral army so that it flees. But maybe you have better ideas because mine doesn't "persuade" me :)

Ohhh I see. Maybe persuade some of the creatures to leave with gold / resources so the battle is smaller. Maybe you could call it Treachery ;) Or Sell sword :D

Yeah maybe, but it must be called Persuasion and - it isn't quite persuasion.

Just curious, but why does it have to be called Persuasion? Does it have to do with the story?

I finished all the landscape of the second map (yes I started from the second and if you played previous campaign you will know why).
It was XL map so a lot work behind me.
Now 4 maps more to go... or even 5.
Keep fingers crossed. :tsup:

PS: I am changing operating system to Windows 7 - do you know if there are some troubles with H4 on it?

I've had none on Win 7, not Even with Equilibris. Slight instabilty on Win 8 if you have several Windows open. But I don't recall that being a big issue on 7.
Well hurry up with the Project and you Can Help me ;)

I am still interested in project of one campaign with multiple authors :)
After MC:LTL I will stop making campaigns in H4. So MC:LTL will be the last chapter of Megom Chornicles. :gking2:

Yeah, I'm game with the idea of a teamed campaign, once done with My campaign, but would you not make it for H4?
I think we could find others interested in a team Project, but I'm No sure How the Work could Be done in practice. I Mean simultanious editing..?

In fact it is child's play:
1. We think out the story;
2. Divide it to parts.
3. Every one makes a map
4. Put it all together and viola ! a nice elegant campaign! :oex:

Ah, didn't think clear enough to even consider 1 map each :). All of a sudden, it seems like a far more manageable project. I would recommend Maciek and iLiveInAbox, perhaps Taro could be interested? Anyone else we know?

:D Thoughts on the story? HoMM lore or independent? Perhaps part of the Enroth / Axeoth universe? I'm pretty partial to that universe ;)

I'm also up for either a continuation of Enroth/Axeoth lore/stories or a made up universe. Not a big deal for me, as long as the story and game play ideas are good.

Looks like a new MoS.-like team is forming! You go guys! With all the talent you have combined, it will have great potential!
I do recommend that you all work on all maps though so that you all have the story written in the same "mood" and "feeling". Also, so that the overall gameplay goes together in a good manner! :)
