That's cool, but... UPlay? Seriously? Many of those are available DRM-free on GOG! This is more like "Humble HoMM2" and nothing else at this point!

I can just guess, but first three are likely without UPlay.

The first one is marked as such. The two others are clearly marked as UPlay.

Humble M&M Bundle

@GE

You're right. It's strange however.

It's a steal offer, for first tier you pay what do you want, for second you need to pay over 12.08$ (price is growing with other buyers) for third one over 15$.

The more interesting is what is not in the offer, like HoF and ToTE for H5 or H3C. There is still a chance!

I'd imagine that they don't have H3C because they have the HD version (and aren't aware it's just RoE). The real question is why there's no HoMM1 or MM7-9...

It turns out the older titles all have DRM free downloads too (equivalent to GoG). So uPlay is optional (except for MMX)

Edit: Ooops, looks like Only Heroes 2 is DRM free. Heroes 4 and V are UPlay only for some reason...

Still worth it though.

Humble M&M Bundle

Unread postby Yurian Stonebow » 02 May 2015, 20:13

Heroes VI Complete? Really? If trying to get a single Heroes VI game ("Vanilla") to work with no problems (broken installation code to valid your purchase, that draconic Uplay system, the game itself not working with NVidia cards, hordes of bugs being still present after Patch 2.11 etc) whatsoever is something to be compared to a miracle, then just imagine going that code hassling nonesense through not once but Thrice!! Heroes VI is, in my most humble opinion as a NVidia user, just not worth it. They'd have to actually be Paying Me to be fooled again into wishing to acquire that horrible piece of *rap. -Yurian

You more or less get Heroes 6 complete with the bundle itself though. Plus all the other goodies.

Honestly I bought it for Clash of Heroes HD (plus DLC), Heroes 3 HD and Dark Messiah. I think those three alone paid for the bundle. (I already own Heroes VI complete)

Humble M&M Bundle

Sure, there are less worthsome and more worthsome games. The first coming to mind are Dark Messiah, Old goodies and Clash of Heroes. But for example I don't own H6 Complete, neither H5 Complete. So I may got the first one out of curiosity or discount fewer.

But if you don't own H6 Complete and would like only this one, then it's cheaper to go for it from the weekend sale. Even if the game is notoriusly unfamous for most mapmakers, as one time story it's a quite a bargain (Thanks Marzhin!). So strictly depends on what do you want.

As owner of vanilla H6 I already invested to this release (Damn 50€), so getting the expansions for 7.49€ (compared to 13.39€ from the whole bundle) sounds sweet (and fair at the same moment). In my case I'm pretty sure that I won't have time to play H5, Dark Messiah, Legacy, so I could be only sad for Clash of Heroes. That's acceptable loss.

BTW I still didn't even managed to finish Kings Bounty - Dark Side, perhaps sometime in this year.

Not exactly as last point, the weekend bundle affects more games from Ubisoft, like Assasin's Creed, FarCry4, Watchdogs, Anno2070, Might & Magic X-Legacy or Preorder of HeroesVII - this one without discount. Which may everyone use to its advantage as s/he's pleased.

I do not own H6 at all. I'll take a look at the bundle again...

Question,
Should I get the pack with Might & Magic Heroes VI - Shades of Darkness, or H6 Gold Edition?

Both.

You need either H6:Complete or Shades of Darkness and H6:Gold.

Just guessing; perhaps the site autofilled and you submitted it before you saw the change. It has happened to me on other sites. ;|

That seems it.

I'm downloading it via humblebundle's torrent (Good test of my new connection.) and it's slow, hope more people will come, rightly these, which have it completed before! Complete version is 17.4GB.

I submitted a ticket, but no response yet.

The site actually said "did you mean..." I assumed that I had mistyped, not that it changed from .ca to .com. Tens of thousands of people have .ca.
