I want new creatures. At least 3 new and 4 classic for each faction.

Maybe if the game sells well there will be expansions with more creatures. :)

Alternatives creatures in other slots than Champion tier has been advocated by several people and highly approved by the community.

I was perusing Devianart, and I came across this image, which reminds me of their old vampire proposals.

Ah yes, swords longer than my ... well, taller than a man. :devious:

I have actually seen such swords in German castles (without the silly ornaments, of course; a good sword is just a blade) and I was amazed to find out how they were used. They were used as a kind of lance, held low and thrusting upwards towards the enemy. Not swung around.

Well vampires are awesome. I mean, when they're fearsome. :)

Which they never even attempted to do prior to HOMM 5 :D .
Pastiche of 40+ year old films are not counting.

I know the new generation prefers Arthas/Brad Pitt/Twilight.

Damn, those are some long teeth!

By some reason this pic reminded me of the Disciples II Vampires - now those were some creepy bastards:

... or the Nosferat:

Had some of the most awesome attack animations as well. Not sucking blood through their sword while piercing/slashing it through your body.

Its' not like Garrys Oldmans performance was lifetime ago for serious movie vampire portrayal.
We can pick more comc like Luke Evans portralayl for "badass" vampire on tv , but of course if we want to complain we can always just complain about edvard just to make a point .

P.S Arthas is not a vampire.

No the Nosferatu reference is actor Friedrich Gustav Maximilian "Max" Schreck from the Murnau 1922 movie.

Yes I am aware of cinemas vampire history. But while nosferatu is quite iconic, if you actually check movie, then acting is quite laughable, and any modern nosferatu portrayal is quite modernized (see world of darkness for example ) . Homm 4 vampire is refference to bella lugosi portrayal , which again by our day standards can be viewed as comedic.
There was even movie with William Defo where cheesiness of acting was explained by fact that max shreck was real vampire :P

Question was about modern vampire portrayals. Sure there are lot's of crap ones like twilight, but there are plenty good ones as well.

Could google for cheesy shot as well if I wanted to . POint still stands, Orlocks scene with bread cutting , wont be badass by today standarts :D , nor does it have to.

Second thing, have you honestly say that you actually sat through both Nosferatu 1922 and Dracula 1931, or are you just scourging for arguments to diss on Ashan designs. Besides be at it may, like it or no, style in Ashan games are stylized to fit lore, you cant just add Nosferatu , if it just wouldn't fit given style (again , subjective liking of style is no argument here)
