Dealing with Might Magic 5 Addiction

Unread postby Wahooka » 08 Oct 2014, 17:30

For some reason, I have developed a bad MM5 addiction.

When I start playing, I tell myself I will only do a few turns, and eventually it turns into a 4-6 hour session.

I always want to keep playing and see what the next battle will bring, and what the map will reveal, and if my strategy will work.

I get stuck on the same missions for months at a time, and get obsessed over them.

Anyone else have this problem? :)

Lol that reminds me of all the TBSes I've played. It takes a lot of will to start them up, but once I do, I play for hours.

Cure: don't start them up in the first place :D
I'm a hypocrite because I suggested that all life is sacred and should not be wasted without good reason.

I deleted the game in frustration.

Great game, but impossible and addictive is a bad combo.

Is there a way to re-install without the original disk?

I feel like playing again.

No, there isn't. But you may re-buy the game on gog.com, for example.

Urg, but perhaps better not health is more important!

..or what about to use Christmas?
