I have not played 6, because too many people were saying it was impossible to win sometimes.

I think that the people which want a simple faction, will be able to have that option. Give humans for example lots of unit options, but limit others. What are dwarfs doing with flame drakes for example.

H6 is fine. It has some bugs still in it but it's neither unplayable nor unenjoyable. It just has too few maps and the implementation of some ideas is incomplete and feels unpolished. The system in H6 is that there are three tiers of creatures but 7 creatures overall. There are three creatures in each of the first two tiers and one in the third. The damage formula is different this time. It's a polynomial, which means that large numbers matter more than bigger stats, making first tier creatures more useful because of their numbers.

...or it could mean that Ubisoft consider us all "lesser men" and don't want to give us the games we want ... ;)
