He is a nice guy and I wish him a lot of success, but there is a not much in the read. I also realize he is not in a position to annouce anything we might want to hear. I am glad he is on a high point; let's hope the game joins him. :D

Thanks Marzhin this is great! :) I was really worried that the gold edition meant they were ending Heroes 6 and leaving it as is, bugs+lack of addons and all lol.

So after breifly re-visiting varn, xeen, and enroth via Corak, Sheltem, Hack and Sandro for him to say that the story does not end here and hint a desire to bring back Yog, Ignatius, and Sir Christian is awesome news. Not going to hold my breath but I do hope there's a proper addon with Wizards and/or Dungeon overlords on the way before this all ends!

Oh and when I say Dungeon Overlord I don't mean the bikini contest race in H5. :/ DO was so good in H3.

@Loco Blutaxt:

That sort of reflects my sentiments too, but he did say that H6 does not end with this DLC, which is some kind of hopeful news.

Yeah! There will be more DLCs coming. Wowee!

Sorry for my pessimistic view of things. But I really have no more hope that UBI can do it the way I like.

I am not excited about DLCs. I am not going to buy any of them at this price, anyway. But there's hope that they will continue to work on the game, maybe introduce some expansions, etc.

"One of the reasons they didn’t do it earlier was that they didn’t want to do it wrong and attract the ire of the fans (which was one of the main reasons for creating Ashan in the first place)."

This is really painful to swallow and believe after all the things they did to "attract the ire of fans." :stop:

Yeah I found that pretty ironic. They were afraid to even try to make a game in the original MM universe, they attracted the ire of the fans anyway, and they STILL made a good profit.

Destroying the world of Enroth & Co at the beginning of Heroes IV was the worst mistake 3DO/NWC ever made, I just couldn't get myself to like Axeoth and Might and Magic IX didn't help either.

In general I find Ashan more enjoyable, even if there are too many dragons (not in Heroes VI though), so I think this one wasn't a bad move by Ubi.

Yeah, I was not happy when they destroyed Enroth. While I don't rave over Ashan I still prefer it over Axeoth.
