PRO TIP: If someone posting in a forum for a non-mainstream strategy game doesn't get a Hercules/Xena reference, they're an FBI/Interpol agent... RUN!!!!

My avatar is Sandro from Heroes 3, Shadows of Death, because I liked the way he looked.

Well... that and I enjoy playing as an evil villain when a game gives me the option.

I used Saurug for a long time in the old forum and at the HC. Then I switched to various variations on a green face over the years.

These days I select random pictures that don't mean much.
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

Oh come on, there must be an SQL command that would do this automatically.
Without having any knowledge about SQL i'd try:
*back avatars directory up
*generate array/table of all avatar file names
*based on the table swap file names in a random pattern
*to clear the mess, restore files with correct names from backup.

My avatar used to be blue and merry Daremyth for a long time, but as the age and bitternes grew i turned into Draconia, the evil sorceress in H2 PoL. Oh, but since i am male, neither of them actually resembles me.

Yeh, I'm sure it's possible to do it the way you suggest, but that would simply randomize the avatars, yes? What I was thinking was to make them into something funny and fitting to the user's personality. ;)

Then make a copy of the directory and at your leisure make the changes you want then on the appropriate date make the change, after backing up the original directory.

My students complain that they can never tell if I am serious or joking, since I never seem to smile. I tell them their uncertainty is part of the fun. :proud:

We had one last (well, this, since it's technically not over yet) semester, and it was often awkward. The fact that he was probably the most down-to-earth person I've ever seen didn't help, either.

My Avatar is from the J.J. Cale Album cover "Naturally." I like J.J. Cale emenselly. I guess Eric Clapton likes him too. Most of Claptons' hits are J.J. Cale songs. :)

None from above - this Gryphonheart's coat of arms never was an item in HoMM game.
