Blackhole vs. Ubisoft update - An alleged BH dev speaks out

Unread postby ywhtptgtfo » 16 Apr 2012, 21:23

If anyone has been to Age of Heroes (http://www.heroesofmightandmagic.com/), it *appears* that a (former?) dev of Blackhole is now publicly talking about the issues that led to the train wreck known as Heroes 6.

Whether or not this guy ("derpson") is authentic, I don't know, but here's the thread (the same thread I linked to previously): http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.p ... enumber=11

I think this is probably more news worthy than those useless version 1.3. patches or conflux maintenance updates.

This is disturbing, but any reason why you didn't post this in your other thread on the topic on BH going bankupt you reference the same thread just a different page. ;|

Because the original thread was about a post in some place and then this thread is about some one claiming to be from BH posting in AoH.

Original post was wrote by the same person, if you didn't notice.

I quoted something from page 8 of the same thread and that's before a suspected BH person joined in afterwards.

No, the post you quoted in the first place was indeed from him. Then he deleted it for some reason.

Which is the alleged post and what's in the text?
I'm a hypocrite because I suggested that all life is sacred and should not be wasted without good reason.

This reminds me, i heard some similar things about Ubi and Nival when it came about ideas for how H5 should be...

If there is going to be a Heroes 7 and the development studio is announced, maybe it'd be worthwhile for some of us to drop a little caveat to that hypothetical studio in case they don't see a potential death trap.

It appears the alleged BH guy deleted all his posts now.

By the way, my apologies on the duplicate thread. I thought the quote from the other thread's from a Hungarian forum and attributed to "Acid Dragon", but it appears the quote from the Hungarian forum was echoed by "Acid Dragon" who saw the post from derpson.

In a nut shell, I thought "Acid Dragon" and derpson were both BH devs because I didn't really read all the posts before getting excited. :hail:
