Really great work Vladimir , keep it up . You are real genius in graphics man . Really awesome changes on graphics and i hope it will change the gameplay aswell because old MM8 is kinda stereotype , all only around the freaking accdess to the stupid Escantons Crystal :D

Hi , I just want to ask when the enhanced gfx mod will be released , im very interested in this mod . I know its not easy to remake gfx in games . SO when do you expect to release this great gfx modification ?

I've just have something in my mind for further enhanced the selection of races.

It could be more interesting if a specific race can involve a twist story later.

I mean for example only particular race like lizard man or orc and activate some quest. It can greatly develop the whole story.

Without that unit in your team we can still do that quest but in different angle and different outcome.

Then the different race will lead to different story, different outcome and item as well.

1. Different story
2. Some race should only available after you beat the game (like angel or dragon)
3. I'm also thinking about the idea of combo spell and skill. These things only work in turn-based mode.

for example you can select two members (2 of them are mages or even 3 of them or even your whole 5 members team) at the same time, set a particular spell which they can cast.

Eg:
Fireball + Fireball + Fireball + Fireball= Larger and more dangerous Fireballs
Firearrow + Icearrow = Fire/Ice deathly spell


I'm kind of geek in programming and designer then i'm not sure something like that can be practical. It's just my idea for enhancing gaming experiences. If something like this possible then we can greatly increase game difficulty. Combo skill + spell is something must have for beat that game.

What you guys think?

we didn't use tweaks with classes as you said above cause it makes coding very hard...if it is possible. so we didn't even mentioned this things.

about combos - see the earlier pages - it is already in progress.

Now we got a face and name:

now our MOD called "Echo of Destruction" and won't be completed with destruction of the Escaton's crystal.

Heroes will face aftershocks of the destruction that will echo over whole Planet and cause new cathaclisms never seen before by mortals eyes.

P.S.
the girl in the screen called "Empath" and she will be very painful enemy to fight with.

no, just general, since i saw some text (in either a pic or video, cant remember now)that was wrongly spelled, but no big deal if you check them before release.

Your graphics look even better from original game. If you can, change something with hire champions from their houses this part of game am mostly dislike, beside this mm8 is ok.

there will be no any hirelings and quest that reqire them to be hired will be changed.

we just started to remake interface and starting screens so you will be able to choose quality and quantity of your starting party + difficult settings like it was in Heroes III (chess-like style)

so - no hirelings but your own fantasy and "wanting-of-hardcore" 2 chars, 3 chars...5 chars - many possibilities awaits!
