It was a hard choice, but in the end it had to be the behemoths from MM7, i'll never forget when i was doing the test of worth for the necromancers and i slipped off the ledge only to be completely surrounded by raging behemoths.

there wasn't even anything left to bury.
test failed :D

Having a level 252~ level Barbrian with a Obsidian Flambrage of Dragon Slaying helped alot to kill the Mega Dragon, compared to the Mega Dragon though, Dragon Mummies are not that tough and at least they can't eradicate your characters...

Dragon Mummies can be tough when they can kill a character if they manage to land a blow... just like those pesky Armadillos

I agree, the Mega Dragon is tough. It is the toughest in the entire series. I am glad the brought it back in the Heroes of Might and Magic IV expansion.

In addition, some of the most toughest battles I personally experienced where with the terminator units in mm6, behemoths in mm7. The most annoying battle was with the beholders or eyes in mm6.

However, the most epic battles were with a group of three roc vultures from mm3, they were pretty damn tough, at least with the level I was at at the time.

Tutorial on how to kill the Mega Dragon in Book Two.
Make you strong places to dwell and practice the evil of your arts. Build great monuments to stand through the ages and remind your followers of the task with which you have been charged. Use these halls of iniquity to perpetrate your schemes against the infestation that has taken the fields and lakes of this land from you, their rightful masters. Never forget the hatred that must finally overcome and consume mankind. Dwell in your dungeons and brood. - Sheltem the Dark

You're not really supposed to be able to do that. If you do, you change history :P

Mass Distortion, is a good spell. That is the main spell I used throughout MM3. It was a life saver. Even in MM6 it is a very useful spell.

Isn't saving King Kalohn already change in history? Besides, Megadragon died anyway from Kalohn's spell (had no wings to fly and was too haevy to swim), so killing him is not so much change in history.

MM6 for me for Dragon Riders (Cuisinarts), Liches, Titans and winged Kreegans.

You only fight Megadragon if you fail to save King Kalohn (appear there without the Elemental Orb), and you may once again return in time with the Orb, so that you don't kill the Megadragon.

Not my favorite monster, but I find it funny that an encounter with the MM1 Succubus Queen instantly paralyzes all the males in the party.

Yeah... It was fun, because I have an all-male party. X.x
