Inferno Creature Animations

Unread postby Kalah » 13 May 2011, 11:17

There is a new video on youtube, showing some animations of the Ravager, the Maniac, the Mother Breeder and the Succubus. Again as last time, the intro is a bit long; the actual animations start at 0:23.

Maniac's animations are as horrible as the model. At least they're being consistent.

And more long intros. How we miss those.

I don't understand that wierd tentacle creature releasing bird-like things from it's mouth/belly and then swallowing them up again. Is that the way it attacks? Personally I'd attack with the multiple appendages but I guess that's just me.

Possibly too hefty to move.

Is the Lovekraft-like creature a shooter, this is what I am curious.

And, oh yes, please, let's expand the actual video part of the creatures at least two times longer than the commercial one, no?

Mother breeder may be a kind of shooter, long-range attacker that is, with those flying imps.

The thing is... Mother breeder... who's the father???

meh nothing worth watching, but it's not really important to me anyway. I think idling units are going to be doing some real cool stuff in the game, with the funny animations video and from a few of these. Of course there's no point to doing any of this is the game plays badly, as long as the game is fun and slightly addictive, i'll be happy. Everything else is just a bonus to me.

Here are the Necro animations (0:23). I like the vampire's sword play, the others not so much.

The Fate Spinner is over 9000!!! That kind of an attack would actually be fitting for a Forge town.

Angels have two huge swords to play with. So that's why they're elite...

Celestials are female, so they get as many as they want whenever they feel like it (unless the tavern is closed).

Is it becoming troublesome if I know exactly where the 0:23 mark is on these clips and can click there without thinking about it?
