Refuting Dante is like refuting Malory as having become the definitive interpretation of the King Arthur myth.

However, even parts of the Bible describes the armies and horrific beasts of Hell. They're not all suave salesmen.
There are no descriptions of demonic armies in the bible that I am aware of. The closest you'll get has demonic beings ruling over human armies which obey them. So demons are boss-monsters not footsoldiers.

Demons are always depicted as manipulators of human bodies, at the extreme possessing them and being exorcised.
Working on tracking the locations of Heroes IV battles. Stage 6 of campaign map finished, all initial Heroes IV campaigns mapped.

That's because all of them are at best what we would refer to as spirits. And that would really cut into Necropolis territory.

Of course i will... because it has as much influence on what is Christian mythology as Warcraft has on what Orcs looked like and acted in Middle Earth.

But of course the Bible is certainly not the only source for demons, i was just pointing out that the terms you're using are misleading...
