Randomness - vol. IV
I might do a partition on it once I've formatted it. It's nice to know, though, that it works. Typing on my reformatted laptop right now ... and although it took a long time to download and reinstall all the updates, it feels like it was worth it.

I do my workouts with Wii Fit Plus. It costs less in the long run than a gym membership that I don't use nearly enough. And since Wii Fit is made for people who don't actually want to work out, the activities are fun and won't hurt you.Milla aka. the Slayer wrote:Fitness World is killing me slowly. I watched the first episode of the American version of Top Gear yesterday on History channel. The hosts each did a standing mile in a different Lamborghini to see which one was fastest (the winner topped out at 180 mph). There was one interesting comment that I didn't understand. One of the guys said that "the game changes once you hit 150." Does anyone know what that means? Does the airflow change the car's handling at that speed or something?

Not sure which episode you're talking about, since I watch the British versions.
Still, they could be talking about either aerodynamics or power. To overcome the increasing wind resistance you need either one or both. If there is a great difference between the two cars re aerodynamics or (more likely) power, chances are this will not have an effect until the speed becomes high enough for wind resistance to become a problem.

Until tomorrow, there's only one episode.
They must have been referring to the handling of those particular cars. I think I got the mistaken impression that 150 mph was some magic speed barrier for cars or something. I've seen videos of people going over 200 mph on the Autobahn without much trouble.
