We do not know it very well. For instance what was the role of neanderthals in the process? Luckily in HUbiomm universe historians wrote everything down :
Centaur - created and patented (SC patent no. 32958372-187) by Ir Sassus 47 YSD

Ha, not even. We don't even know what/where their homeworld is.

- 40 to 60 hours of gameplay (campaign wise)
Feee... could be more.Lets hope for more separate maps.

- hotkeys available for combat / adventure
OK.Hope they are listed in manual/readme...

- no actions of the hero on the battlefield (like in H3)
Nonsense crap! I want hero not only had more actions (like operate war machines - they shouldn't act by themselves), but also could enter combat directly (if 'they' want)...

- advanced classes
Good.Hope all are useful, not like in H4...

- area of effect for ranged units (is this really special ??)
Just what i wanted!

- arena up to 50% bigger
Excellent!Best news so far...Hate when armys get washed away in 1 turn...

- less actives capabilities for creatures (only one role for each creature : support, dps, tank, rusher)
Not good...

- archers can go in the main tower
Why just main? They should be in all towers and on castle walls...

- offensive and defensive position (does that mean formations ??)
Repeat - does that mean formations ? - if so - very good...

- capacities to shield from range
Does it work like LoS in H4? Anyway sounds good...

- no caravans (no need anymore)
OK if truly no need...

- new rare ressource is called cristalized dragon blood (yup, they took all the rare ressources off ... bold )
Another crap! :stop: Stop killing dragons for industry !!!:hanged:

- creatures buildings are illimited in the castle (wtf?) while there are to spots for up to 4 diferent unique buildings
Weren't initially announced 3 of 5 special buildings per town?Would be better ofc...

- Blue phoenixes (cause they are linked to the moon, and blue ftw)
Strange, but no problem...

- a special ability for each faction, will charge during combat with 4 levels (exponenitally lethals)
Good.I presume it is active from the start of the battle?..

- no more trolls lutins, gremlins, their SHOULD be dragons (duh)
Not good...

- haven is tanky weak offense and lots of heals, capacity : guardian angel , gives immunity to a stack (including physical)
- necro : weak offense and defense , no moral debuf and long fights, dots, capacity : necromancy (resurect)
- inferno : strong offense, strong defense, low moral capacities ... PHASING
We'll see...

About the video: isn't griffin attack taking to much time?
Liked those ghouls...
A Heroes without stacks ? HERESY ! ;)
I would like it, but because of such reactions i'm not pushing this idea...

If town conversion is VERY costly, it will not be practical to use, except very big maps. That is not good...

I was actually counting on more creature abilities that are either activated or reloaded in a few turns, much like in King's Bounty where it was executed superbly. I hope what they're planning is not in fact as horrible as it sounds, but it does add fuel to the "dumbing the game down" rumour mill.

mwa, I see where they are going, pretty much every unit had at least 1 special ability, most of them had more then one
abilities such as cleave or fear attack are nice but don't add much strategy into the battle (other then trying to kill at least 1 unit with cleave ofc.)

What is so bad about Ubisoft trying to create its own bestiary and lore ?
Then maybe they should create their own IP while they are at it.

They where there so we can wipe them out by being superior (and so we can steal red hair from them).

But in Ashan lore it actually is explained (Humans being one of the Elder races and so on).

There is some official timeline... Maybe on the official H5 site, I can't remember where exactly.

The Elder races are created to worship the elemental dragons.

Angels: Dragon of Light
Faceless: Dragon of Darkness
Humans: Dragon of Air
Elves: Dragon of Earth
Dwarves: Dragon of Fire
Nagas: Dragon of Water

The "Younger Races" are the Orcs and Beastmen, I guess...

wouldn't it be cool if basically all the element factions are playable (except air I guess) + academy. And inferno would only be in the campaign with boss battles etc.
