As I said in the forums, Ubisoft only sold them the license for the chinese market. By opening their game to the rest of the world, they're potentially putting themselves in a lot of legal trouble with Ubi.

Still, the Heroes tradition lives on, only in a different way than I had hoped for. I applaud anything new with Heroes since we almost lost it between 4 and 5.

"gameplay elements from the HoMM III universe combined with HoMM V graphics"

Arrgh, if only they would have kept the horrible HoMM5 graphics out of it... For me, two things that are very important are graphics style (not graphics themselves) and story. At least it seems that it does have something of story here, with familiar things from the Enroth planet (Tularean Wood - misspelt Tularean Forest, Harmondale, Steadwick), although how come it still exists after being destroyed is a mystery. But the style really puts me off, that's the same unrealistic cartoonish style of WoW and countless others. Why do people forget what words like "light source", "detail texture" and "realistic proportions" are?..

Not sure I get it. Why release this when we have Heroes: Kingdoms??? I thought that was going to be the MMO Heroes?

I'm glad that it's turn-based, but I'm worried that this will lead to real-time mmorpg just like the rest.
Holding on is easier, then letting go.

It seems a lot like Heroes III, all units are the same, I went through the descriptions and there is not a single difference in the abilities from HIII. Maybe the devs are too afraid that any new elements will not be liken from the public. Also they steal the leadership system from King's Bounty -> Lame
