I just wanted to point out that CH is not responsible for lost emails, and that the names of the winners will not be published (because of the non-disclosure agreement).
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

I think you mean "Eastern" time unless it's the Easter Bunny that's collecting applications. ;-) EDIT: Great, you fixed it. :)

The chosen ones will receive an email from Ubisoft, but I might send a follow-up email to these people to make sure everything is ok. As for the date itself, Fabrice posted this on the official forum: "We are making a push for the beta test every two weeks. So the next one is due middle-end of next week. Mails will be sent at this period. We will add a few hundred people."
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

I sent my email too. How will the people be selected? First come first served? or... :)

Oh ok..I thought this was something extra all together. So this just ties into adding people every 2 weeks then? Its not like a "second chance" at the initial phase? And Fabrice said "a few hundred people" while it sais here on CH only around 20...what am I missing here...?

This is sweet...I mean, I didn't get picked before and the odds are against me, but something to get my hopes up for right? Any...*bribes* accepted for the spots? haha just kidding. Good Luck to all who email them!

what you're missing? That CH doesn't get all of the new seats?
I have probably offended you in this post. if you take it too harshly, it's your own responsability. I, for my part, never intended to.

iirc, Ubi had already stated that they were going to select 1000 people (or thereabouts), and out of those 1000, add a section to the beta-testing group. I was under the impression that they had already picked everyone they wanted, and would add them after 2 or 4 weeks into the beta. But this seems to be something on top of that, so it looks like I second chance thing... I'm confused :S :P

My bet is that CH gets to pick 20 of the few hundreds that Ubi allow into the bet***

With them needing more tester shows the game might even be late. They must have so many bugs right.
Let them think they are winning, when they find out they are losing, its too late.

Their original plans were to start with less people and add more on a regular basis. It's easier to keep things under control that way. I don't think that necessarily means the game isn't on schedule.
