The man without whom this site wouldn't have been created in the first place.
Since he's not a celebrity, it shouldn't be too hard to locate his email address?

Anyone?

I suppose it's possible if one is willing to search the web for days running after all those various odd clues that may (or may not) be of help in our quest. ;| It sure would be nice to get in contact with him and thank him personally for his great work.

Last we heard he was headed to EA to take over the Command & Conquer franchise. You could guess at it - john.van.canegham@ea.com for example.

Verify Email says the above address is valid.

Which is unlikely, since his name is actually spelled Jon Van Caneghem and not John Van Canegham ;)

Haha, I wouldn't trust that e-mail verifier - apparently my own e-mail doesn't exist!

Great idea.

I just did that, with a corrected name:
jon.van.caneghem@ea.com

We'll see.
Next, I'll try jvcaneghem
then caneghemjc
etc

Strange. The correct name returned me a Mail Delivery error, but the previous 2 ones with the incorrect name didn't. 8|

I'm no good at webstalking, but when I desperately needed to get a guy's address which I'd forgotten I created a LinkedIn account. Probably your best bet.

Jon never replied to my own emails (2 or 3 attempts a long time ago). Even if I introduced myself as the guy behind that big Heroes fan site and all. Our only contact with him was when Ghostwriter met him in person at E3 (shortly before the 3DO bankruptcy).
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

I bet if I signed with the name of the owner of a racing team, he'd get back to me in a hurry. :D
