Heroes V Deluxe Edition

Unread postby [T]osHiro » 06 Apr 2006, 14:27

Great! I’m finally back in action. And here’s an interesting bit of news.

UbiSoft has plans for the release of Heroes V Deluxe Edition. It is schedule in May and here is an image of what it has in it.

This special and limited edition contains the original game, unique in-game content including three additional single scenario maps and a unique Hero “Aura”, a printed map of Ashan, sixteen page artbook by Heroic Fantasy artist Olivier Ledroit, a faction document summarising all creatures’ skills and Heroes of Might and Magic II complete game.

It does look beautiful, with all those fancy a printed map, documentation and stuffs hardcore fans will like, but it may be too early to decide whether to purchase this wonderful product. May is the month folks, so start saving up!!

There is also the Limited edition that comes with both complete HIII and HIV! Here.

I don't understand. Is the Deluxe edition for Europe only? And Limited for US only? Won't we (in the US) have the Deluxe edition?

Please share information...

I'm trying to get a definitive answer on this, but so far no luck.

I'm happy to hear the news about this version since it has exactly what I am looking for (creature card, extra maps, an extra hero according to GameSpot), but they fail to mention exactly where this specific version is going to be sold and when it's going to be available for pre-order.

Does anyone have any extra info besides the paltry amount they've given us?

The german official page says it will be sold in MediaMarkt:
"Die Deluxe Edition wird exklusiv bei MediaMarkt erhältlich sein!"

I just hope the standard edition includes the faction sheet, just like every other game has in the series.

Umm, I don't think H4 had a faction sheet (Well at least not in OZ). It was only on a PDF on the game CD. That sucked.

I bought Heroes IV on the day it was released and it did indeed have a faction sheet, a hard-copy manual & a sort of glossy paper mini map. I think the later editions didn't have those extras though. :(

I have already ordered the Super Collectors Edition and now I'm afraid if I was a litte fast with my decision. The map and the artbook seem to be the same in collectors edition and deluxe edition, but I would also like to have the "faction document summarising all creatures’ skills".

I wonder if anyone (even Fabrice) knows what the differences are between the Collectors, Deluxe and Limited editions. It's just crazy!
