Just as long as they oooozes of quality... Yeah I've gotten abit depressed on how Vivendi which owns Blizzard, some time ago have gotten into a deal with Activision. Now theres this developer/publisher thing name Activision Blizzard.

http://www.neowin.net/news/gamers/07/12 ... sion-merge

http://news.cnet.com/8301-13772_3-9827685-52.html

You may know what I have to say below from before, but Activision can really make EA look like the "good" guys... See how bad that makes it sound?
Not to go off topic to much but if Activision, have gotten the chance they could have mauled the oppurtunities for the quite refreshing-away-from-WW2era- game brand name Modern Warfare bu ruining the chances for Infinity Ward to make top-notch games and rather milk the WW2 era yet again in buckloads, in forms of WW2 games all over again!

I fear this will roll onto the greater toe of Blizzard themself. And I who thought Blizzard were one of the last remaining and independent powerhouse game developer companies out there. Talk about gettin a wall smashed into your face....
Well off to bed know, cant wait for SC 2 though. I know its gonna be great, though I carry with me a dose of healthy sceptism...

The real question now is: What will come sooner - Starcraft 2 or Heroes VI? :D

Balance... all the koreean hordes will descend upon them and tear them apart if they don't get it right.

Hopefully they won't get stuck in the same stuff with D3, even if they said that PvP will be more looked into then in D2...

Oh, and now the delay of the beta is all because of Battle.net... this is what the SC2 staff is doing in the mean time:

No developer does that in a video game just yet. Looks like blizzard is a tad ahead of it's time, don't you think?

Yet, they've practically always done only passable to ok graphics. Nothing earthshaking. Maybe they just set their goals well.

I don't care much about Blizzard's titles, but I have to give credits to them for generally focusing on to the most important aspect of any game: gameplay.

Blizzard games will run on a mediocre PC. That is the power of their games. Gameplay is awesome, and even your fridge can play them...

Nah, they just don't have anything else to do while they're waiting for bnet 2.0 to be dne so they can start the beta.

True, true. Its good to see them do something of course. While other developers joins the temptation of doing nothing.

I didn't get a key. I was 2 ranks(and 1 win in points) from top 20 in the last warcraft 3 ladder season, which would have meant a beta key. Incredibly frustrating, especially since I had a lot of disconnects and could hardly find any games during the last days of the ladder.

However, my old team's leader got one, and I've been able to use his account for a bit. I played about 20-25 games. It's very confusing because I never played sc1(apart from a little bit of the campaigns), but it seems like it could be great.

ThunderTitan, I've met a few russians at least.

sup everyone.

So, sc2 beta has been hacked, and some Chinese guys even added an "ok" AI (in beta only "very easy" was included).

Anyone else tried it ?
