@TUD

Well if we're gonna let stupidity stop us then we might as well give up on everything...

Of course i think D3 having a HoMM style battlefield is mistake, they could have just introduced movement in a more chess like manner in a smaller BF...

@Avonu

Welcome to the 21st century... you'll be buying many a game only when the gold edition comes out methinks...

After HV failure - yes, no more games in release day - unless it will be from company who I know and trust - like Stardock for example - they haven't problems with patching.

Wrap it up in a shiny box with a cute little action figure and it's called "Collector's Edition".

It was called shareware back in the day... now it's a release day game and we might patch stuff in later, maybe.

Google to the rescue: http://translate.google.com/translate?j ... l=ru&tl=en

Looks like it pulled both a Heroes 4 (buggy beta like release) and a Heroes 5 (missing buttons and pointlessly taking out features).

The graphics are said to be pretty at least...

And i see the reviewer didn't care for the expanded BF either...

It's so polish you can hard recognize what you are seeing, doing or going. Guess you'll use to it with some more playing, but right now KB:AP OWNS.

Yeah, the BF is annoyingly bright for some reason and you can't swing the camera around 360 degrees here either... when will people learn that 3D graphics shouldn't get in the way of gameplay...

Otherwise the game seems better then how the reviews made it sound... though changing how the battles work makes it feel less Disciple-y...

Yeah, for some reasons it seems to be a trend in some games... bloody annoying that.

Won't be playing much of anything for a while as my PC is in the shop, but one of my friends couldn't load saved games until he reinstalled the game, and then he says that the game crashed when he reaches lvl4 with the hero and he has to restart the laptop to make it work. So i guess it's worse the H4...

That's why I switched to KB. I'll get enough when I play with a second class, but for now it still got my attention.

Personally...I don't think the graphics look that bad myself. What Disciples game did have good graphics? Maybe with the exception of the Unit Artwork, hell....Disciples II was using 800x600 max res when most games @ the time were using 1280x1024!

I would just like to know when is the US going to receive this title?

It is not that it have bad graphics, it's that there is no contrast. Still waiting for 0.1 or something, cause I have read of a lot of bugs. No thanks.

The Adventure Map in D2 was (and still is) very beautiful. The only problem with it was that it could get a bit dull and depressing at times: overwhelming dark atmosphere, lack of diversity in landscape elements, too few interaction, too few adventure map objects, boring (annoying even) low tier creatures, etc.

The Combat Map backgrounds were pretty good, as well. You don't notice them anymore, because D2's combat just gets monotonous to the point where you don't give a damn about them.

Disciples II Expansion Packs let you increase the resolution above 800x600 (including 1280x1024).
