I've dabbled in online games, but I can't bring myself to be social with people in them, which sort of defeats the point :)

Hmm... strange. See, I thought the point of online games were to lure thousands of dollars out of innocent people ;)

Different groups of people have different objectives with the game :)

I used to play with a friend of mine.

Gee man, you see the pic of such a beautiful girl and you still manage to notice side details like what kind of glass she has in her hand? :)

Well, I don't need the game to crash my computer... It's enough to open it and play around a bit to get the same feeling. :devious:

It is. And the quests send you on errands all the way across the planet to waste your game time traveling back and forth.

And E, we all know that you're anti-social. But we like you anyway. That's why we leave food at the cave opening for you.

Poor Zam! Should we pass the hat to get you a new computer?

Kalah, the sad part is that I can read your text and it's still true, even after 23 years of marriage. *sigh* Now you know why I play so many computer games.

Perhaps I should rephrase: what I meant was that I don't need a crash to feel that "they are the ones who abandoned me" as you said; Ubival's approach (of the HoMM universe) alone was enough to get me in that mood and make me look either back to older titles, or else to other games in the genre (e.g.: KB:TL), hence the reason why I visit this forum mainly for the Campfire. But enough off-topic. ;)

cmon.. Its like caring about how fast you can spend your prize money after winning a poker tournament.. Before the game has actualy begun.

Besides, stunning look will always worth few seconds of delay ;)
