Does it crash once you launch it or when you load a map? Cause the advance propierties is bugged :disagree:
If not, try a fully reinstall(back up saves, map changes an such, but reinstall everything, incluidng RoE, AB&SoD)
Hope is not a vista issue...
Edit: DAMM IT, it doesn't work to me now, and I used it yesterday....and no, it isn't vista, I have XP....

Are you WoGifying the campaigns? You should NOT do that. If it is a standard campaign, it could cause things to be impossible (such as replacing a stack of quest creatures). If it is a WoG campaign, then the maps already have their needed scripts withing the maps, and WoGifying could cause conflicts.

Well I have made a copy of heroes (which I just deleted though :/)
So I should still be able to play the original campaigns like normal right?

The RoE/SoD/AB campaings? I think yes, though I'm not sure...

I would say SOD maps look gay comparing to WoG ones, just to correct you.
Installing WoG is a 2 minutes process. Or maybe you just do anything you can to screw up the install, and then being able to complain?

I have WoG installed and I've just run SoD.exe and the campaings movies work correctly, maybe as Salamandre says you screw up something during the installation?

After you install, a new movie and campaign is available when starting WoG.exe. Don't touch with WoG the original HoMM campaigns.

The best way is to download wog custom maps, so you are bug/crash safe.
What is going wrong after your install?

You need to change regional settings to english prior to install. Then have a clean wog...delete the previous one, it may interact. Million people could install wog properly, there is no reason you have problems with it.

btw, if you are thinking on using WoG map editor, DO NOT USE THE ADVANCE PROPIERTIES, since it's bugged and will make your map to crash each time you time to open it after some time....instead use Sergroj editor. Just 4 more clicks and you can change the passability of an object, or even make a gold mine to look like a gold pile, and so on... ;)
