You're way of not being serious is a strange one.

I find it ironic that you are constantly using the word "narrowminded". Of all the people I've debated with in the recent years, only two of them didn't accept ANY of my arguments, not even the most logical attempts. The first guy was a religious bigot, the second is you.

If it has a :P at the end, it's usually supposed to be taken less than serious actually (although sometimes, I do use it when I'm serious, not in this case though, that would be reserved for other forums with bigger 'debates').
Veldrynus wrote:Of all the people I've debated with in the recent years, only two of them didn't accept ANY of my arguments.
You mean don't "agree" right?
The way I see it, you just try to obfuscate and claim you have arguments behind silly remarks or being "surprised" that someone could do X, say Y or refuse Z. But the way I see it, is like you can't handle that people have different interests. Talking about narrowmindedness...

The only arguments you had was that you had such a surprise out of what TT said. And I do not see how I did not answer that -- the analogy that a guy in his basement expresses surprise when he goes outside as well. That is, he does have a point, that he is surprised. I don't see how that doesn't make him narrowminded, since in this example, he would think that everyone lives in basements etc... and has the same interests (maybe watching TV and on the internet all day :D).

If you would take the time to actually point out, simply, straight to the point, what's false in the above, rather than making obfuscated and verbose posts which have nothing to do with what I or you said.

Nonsense. You are seeing arguments where are none, once again showing a lack of basic understanding. My "gay" accusations were a joke. Got it?

You first reaction clearly shows that you took it serious:
Oh no, I'm not going into THAT again...
Anyway, I have no problem with people disagreeing with me. On the contrary, debating is only fun and exciting, if the other has a different view than me, and also, if he\she is a strong and challenging opponent. I have problem with those who deliberately never ever accept any arguments, no matter how sound and logical they are. Like the time I've proven your "buddhist monk" argument to be wrong, and you did not WANT to accept it. I even presented it to some others, just to check it, whether I've made a mistake somewhere. Everybody else accepted it, except you. If that's not narrowminded, what is? Sorry to say that, but you have debating habits just like a creationist.

What do you guys think about Traci Lords? One of the few girls to make a successful transition from adult films to mainstream movies. I liked her a lot as Jordan in First Wave. :)

Jesus Christ man how long are you going to cling on this? Last time I checked I actually refuted those arguments with a simple practical example instead of speculations (the non-buddhist 100+ year old virgin, remember? I mean 100+ years without meditation must show a pretty healthy body...), but everytime that happens, we're back to square one. You constantly say the same things over and over again, no matter whether and how much it's been done in other discussions. Sometimes I wonder whether you copy paste your posts from somewhere else or from your personal archive of sorts.

Nevermind though, I did NOT say the 'gay' thing was not a joke -- in fact, the way I saw it and you admitted was simply an expression of surprise. And that's how I took it, why do you see things in my posts I don't even write? If you express surprise (forget about the 'gay' thing) to something that is common, then you are a bit narrowminded.

oh and by the way, just cause you keep clinging on the same stuff over and over again without reason (read: you brought this here, not me, so don't say I go off topic :P), here's something for you. (I'm not inclined to debate this cause obviously this will turn into Observatory material, but since it's YOU who keeps going over to that same bull over and over... I can only hope this seals the imaginary deal in your head)

No, I was talking about her other career. You know - mainstream. :) I haven't seen that one called Zack and Miri Make a Porno with Seth Rogen - I heard it was full of clichés.

Wow, that's just lame. One anecdotal counter-example does not prove anything! This isn't math. If you cannot understand this, you do not qualify for a serious debate.

I find the article about the INSECTS, rather amusing. Last time, I've posted like five links about the positive health benefits of sex, all of them involving HUMANS. You know, the specie does matter sometimes.

Your obvious rampant hatred of sexuality makes me wonder. What's wrong with you, man?

Hold on for a minute! I will not continue debating with him, for I see it's a pointless waste of my time and nerve cells.

Let us resume praising the glory of the female beauty:

She's too skinny, imho. Lacks 'sustança', as we call it here.

If I may, the woman below is, imho, the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. The name is Amanda Carrier. I mean that she's hot (*echoes here* - hot, sexy, hot, sexy), beautiful, looks sympathetic...she's just perfect. The most beautiful smile! And she even have some butt! In Brazil, women are likely to have big butts than big boobs, but she's ok - oh, God. Let me stop before my nose bleeds.

I just love Alyson Hannigan's photoshoots. We wouldn't expect that from her having seen her in Buffy and How I Met Your Mother.
