Monte Christo, I fear you ended the round according to rule 9. Or does anybody know a word which is not strongly tied with "elf"? A start with "lf" seems impossible, too. ;|

I think that -ish (meaning prankish) isn't strong tie with elf. ;)

Monte Cristo, there is no other word that starts with "elf" or "lf" so you would technically get -5 penalty, BUT:

Yes, Tolkien was very particular about that. If I remember correctly, the American version first got that wrong, and he was adamant that it was changed for the following editions.
