How do you guys feel about castrating pets? I have a male cat and when I got him I had an option to cut off his "assets" but I strictly forbid it, I am 100% against turning my cat into a melancholic hairball. Even if it means he'll die sooner while trying to achieve his needs. I want my cat to have his freedom.

Castrating your cats is essential! There are way too many stray cats in the world, and although some movies portray a life as a stray cat/dog as a great adventure, believe me when I say it is not. You should only allow your cat to breed if you have secured home(s) for the kittens.

Also, castrating them makes them less likely to run off on their little adventures, not coming back for a week or two. Especially this applies to males.

My cat has never been away for more than 3 days. If he was home all the time my father would probably give him away. I swear that cat will eat until he vomits. And castrated cats get very fat.

That is why I bear not having a cat. I'd not castrate them anyway, so they would be running out all day long, sometimes, not returning home. Then, having dogs is better, so you don't need to castrate them.

I don't like thinking about a pet which is forbidden to continue its lineage due our own business. ;|

See that cat on my computer in the second picture?That one is the product of the former two,who are,by the way,mother and a son.An interesting experiment that turned out fine,although the results couldve been catastrophic.All three are castrated now.The only problem is that now they eat like lions now.

@ThunderTitan
Hehe!They arent drunk,they just like to immitate me.If I get lucky,I might take a picture of them sleeping on my pillow coverd with my blanket(not such a rare sight though)

But of course. They must eat something somehow, don't they? :devious:

My cat likes to ride around on my shoulder like a parrot. I shall try to get a pic of that soon enough, but it could be tricky to get a good angle of it... ;)

Can your cat talk? Talk like a parrot, or like a parrotcat? :|
