Vote 4.

All of the minotaurs are pretty good, but minotaurs are tribal, simplistic people, i think some of the representations of them are too sophisicated for minotaurs.

And here i though that the Minotaur has just a near mindless monster that liked to eat people...

Actually, H2 minotaurs are about 90% man, and 10% bull. Most of the other minotaurs are more or less the same way, but they just haven't benefitted from the H2 minotaurs full body shaving/waxing.

I'm pretty sure the myth had him with a bulls head, and man's body. And your head is more then 10% of you body.

Except the H2 one all the rest are anthropomorfic animals.

I know the myth, I just meant that all the others appear to have mostly a man's body, it's just harder to tell because it's covered in hair/fur. H1 and H2 are the only ones that wear boots for their hooves though. :|

Also, wouldn't it have made a lot more sense to have the body of minotaur, and the head of a man? ;| That way, your mind would have the potential of a human, and your body would be as strong as a bull. But instead, these minotaurs are as flimsy as humans, and dumb as an ox.

(My sincerest apologies to all animals. Actually I have much more respect for them than my silly words here have expressed. I love nature! :) )

Jeezs TT, you buy that word on ebay?

Minotaur also falls into the trap of being watered down in HOMM3 and HOMM4. In HOMM2 (especially as a King) the ManBull was just too cool.

Actually, I still like the HOMM1 original.

How would that be punishment?! Who wouldn't want a heir with the strenght of an ox?

And what's wrong witht that word souce-boy?

The HoMM II minotaur suits my taste the most, followed by the horned fellow from HoMM I.

The Heroes III Minotaurs/Kings were always awesome.

Oops, I did not see the last post's date until now.

H3 minotaur gets my vote. Why?

The H3 min king gets some sort of heavy armor, but in the game he just gains +3 defenece skill and no addinitnal HP, that i think is stupid looking at how massive does the torso armor look.

In my own Gigamight mod i added additional 20 HP to minotaur kings to make it all look realistic.

I voted for the Heroes III Minotaur King. Overall a great unit that deals massive damage with his high attack value. I think its only weakness is the price, 575 gold. Thankfully, when playing against them, they don't have the Block ability their comrades from Heroes IV possess. It would be too much.
Although the +1 morale specialty is at times more than enough.
