From what I hear, it's supposed to be introduced in an expansion.

As well as 2 more classes and a female main character.

(My guesses are some sortof Barbarian and an Assasin type)

And I think KB has a lot of Text.

With KB being more of an adventure game shouldn`t it have more text?

King`s Bounty: First Review

I believe Meandor is right. Here is quote from www.kings-bointy.com : "King’s Bounty: The Legend is a knight saga, an exciting blend of role-playing adventure and tactical battles reviving glorious traditions of the legendary “King’s Bounty” game."

Role-playing adventure means there will be a lot of talking with NPCs.

No, I don't think so. HoMM has an incredible amount of text.
Think of: Town Bios, Hero Bios, Creature descriptions, creature ability descriptions, Rumours, Town Building descriptions, map object descriptions and so on.
Campaign Dialogues and texts are only a small part of the total amount of words in HoMM.

I think that KB should have most of that too.

Well yeah, it`s kinda pointless to argue while it`s not even out in Russia yet.

Yet, we started arguing long before Heroes V came out. :D

I hope that six month gap between the Russian and North American releases is an error. Amazon releases dates cannot always be trusted after all.

Still, I'm sad that you can't be a Warlock... why no love for the cunning slightly evil? :(

I've checked 2 other sites to try and figure out whether or not the september release is a fluke, and both sites (Gameranking.com, Walmart) have said the same, with walmart also pinpointing a day, Sept. 23, 2008.

Hopefully this isn't true because I just now figured out about this new Kings Bounty, and after what ive heard about it already and what i heard about the original one, i really cant wait to get my hands on it.

You can try to play as mage in evil style. Maybe they will implement warlock in expansion.

Actually, it IS out in Russia. It's already available in at least two of the local shops.

Wow, already, and they said that the game had only a bit of bugs that weren't game breaking anyway. Someone *cough*nival*cough* could learn from this.
