Tell us which game you bought last, and of course how much it costs and if it's worth buying or not :)...

Mine was Hellgate London. Bought it for €30 and it's worth EVERY €cent you payed. A 3d Diablo clone, only more based on online play, singleplayer is just a trial and you cannot import your SP characters, so just start online!

It was X3. Totally worth the money, I got really hooked on it. I've put it away for now, so I can get some work done... I'm not taking it out again until my thesis is finished..

Those are one of the best games in the adventure genre. I also bought both for a small price (though not as cheap as yours) some 7 years ago or so.

Recently, I bought the third one, and though the controls took a bit getting used to (keyboard controlled), I am enjoying the game very much with a friend. We've managed to cover about half the game without using a walkthrough, but now we're stuck and will likely take a peek, because we both hate puzzles where you have to move stuff around and such.

I haven't purchased anything since December (I got a lot of stuff at the holidays, and woefully little time to play them), but Puzzle Quest (for the Wii) was my last purchase. I took a break to play some other games, but I have gotten back to it recently. I could have gotten it for the PS2 at the time I got it (that version was cheaper), but I figured the Wiimote interface would be a lot better. I think it is. (the PC version was nowhere to be found or I would have gotten that one)

Tomb Raider: Legend, of all things.

Was told that it was actually good by several reliable people. And Lara is voiced by Keeley Hawes since the story reboot.

And it really is. Excellent gameplay, interesting story, great voice-acting. They've clearly been influenced by the excellent Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb, as well as obviously what made TR great in its first couple of installments.

If you're vaguely into that kind of thing, or have nostalgic pangs for the original, the re-imagining is well worth picking up.

Before that I grabbed Dawn of War The Complete Pack (that's all of the addons to date, including Soulstorm) which is most excellent. Can get back into a bit of gaming with that.
