it's basically at the RRP (though of course there's the normal variation from maker to maker) it's sitting right at the middle of the playing field at just over $400AU with high end stuff at about $800-900 and cheapo's at maybe $100

okies - here are my new specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Asus P5K-E WiFi AP motherboard
2GB Corsair DDR2-800 CAS4 RAM
200GB WD SATA II HDD
DVD Burner (which for some reason just stopped working :( )
Gainward BLISS 8800GT 512MB
Viewsonic 2255wmb 22" Widescreen LCD

I really love my screen and the videocard makes UTIII SHINE!!!

I plan to OC the cpu from stock 2.4 GHz to around 3.0 GHz, once I get a zalman cooling system on it ... that should grant a little extra oomph should I need it :)
