If you meant Heroes V, then I'd day that it's more true than not. The parts they have changed are very good though...

I'd say moderate gameplay changes rather than small. The personal initiative rounds have changed combat more than I originally expected. The revamped skill system is a lot funner than three's, retaining a good deal of four's variety.

But at its core, Heroes V took Heroes III as its base. Moderate changes, but not massive changes à la Heroes IV.
Far too many people speak their minds without first verifying the quality of their source material.

Hmm. Well really, H5 seems to be as different from H3 as H4 was, all things considered. Different differences though, and whereas I like most (but not all) changes in H4, I dislike most (but again, not all) changes in H5.

I think that since we have not seen the end result of Heroes V, we still might be able to see a few surprises coming our way. Modifications still need to be done!

Err... :( I need some info upgrade. Is there a demo yet or is it all about a beta release? If it is, where can I get it to play or is it possible playing without any authorization? I'm really lost about HOMM5 right now. Somebody, light my path. :beg:

Sorry tar,I think that beta downloads are closed now.And all of this is just about beta.Maybe someone could send you a beta, along with a key,but considering how it is about 700MB,Im not sure who would do that.
