I find the HoMM V wight to be much more menacing than its glow-in-the-dark upgrades.

One of the few times HV wins with the Wight. Suitably spooky and ominous.

It was a toss-up between H3 Wight and H5 Wight, and H3 Wight won. On a side note, I also like her hood better than H3 Wraith's hood.

Yeah, H5 wight for me. It really looks more intimidating than the H5 upgrades, and I like it better than the H3 types.

H3 Wraith... coz it actually looks ghostly, instead of neon-y.

H5 Wight for me too. Sends chills down my spine :S
It's got that great creepyness of the nine dead kings from Lord of the Rings. Can't remember what they're called ;|

My pick is the mana stealing, regenerating evil bastard of a creature from Heroes III, the Wraith.

The glowing red eyes inflict terror on all players who encounter them early in the game, not just the ones playing with magic orientated Hero. That regenerating ability is especially annoying if you are fighting them with an army mainly composed of archer units.

A pain in the "donkey"! :D

Um, the "glowing ones" were the Army the of the dead, not Nazgûl.
