Any way to change keyboard controls in MM8?

I'm using Mok's patch for a Vista laptop. There is a Default button in the controls menu (so I would assume you can change, unless the devs just left that from MM6/7), but when I click/dbl-click on the keystroke, nothing happens. Just finished playing MM7 and I like to use WASD for movement. Arrrrgh!! thx
