I don't use any mods with TotE, since that's what I'm playing, but I would really appreciate the in-game skill wheel.

For previous versions of the game, I used several mods, most notably the one that enabled you to reach the ultimate skill at about level 18 or so.

Two or three.
First - female models for Dungeon 2.0 for FoH - it works ok for TotE too.
Second:

but it is for some time - don't remember where I found link (EDIT: in Modcrafting Guild).
And third - furies "more clothes" (chainmail) - it work only for HV and FoH.

I do. It's fairly easy to remove them for online play too.

I use some mods, like skill wheel, town descriptions, necro calculator.

The only problems with the mods is that the ideas are gr8 but some of them die while still young.

One usefull mode would be... Individual Hero models! (there are many existing... but every single mod I saw had to have some lacking stuff inside.)

But people decide on their own free time :), so they spend time in abitious projects, with questionable new factions and heros :(.

I can't play this game without mods. Not even the campaign missions. And that's why I love PC games! :D

Children must have interactivity with their toys! :-D

-I use the Dark Knights mod, modified by myself so all animations work correctly for ToE.
-I use Treants mod, with the new French-modded(?) evergreen/savage treant.
-I use the Red Dragon visual mod, to get rid of the leather straps and put an animation on the Incinerate.
-I use my personal mini-balance mod, so there is actually a choice between some upgrades.

Now tell me, how can I possibly enjoy this game without these mods?? B-)

I don't yet, unless you count the skill wheel. But once Nival has balanced as much as they are going to I'll be looking for a balance mod to address whatever they decided not to address.

GOW
Frodo: "I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened."
Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."

I only use the in-game skill wheel. For H5 and HOF I could remember some of combinations, but with TOTE I can't at all. (Thanks Avonu for the link!)

I try not to since you can't play online with them, but the one I use is the black main menu mod, makes going online so much better

one question about playing online with mods:

I basically use interface changing mods, i.e. the mods who make the game look and feel much cooler (skillwheel, combat arena, etc)
Can these type of mods be used in multiplayer?

hey, haloswift, try using the town flyby. it works perfectrly and makes the menu look fantastic. also, try the change of the menu with buttons itself which can be found here: http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=24393

Strangely, I don't use any, which is really unusual for me. Even back in HII I used to tweak the resources to make the game more challenging, and I was a huge WoG fan. I think the reason I've avoided mods in HV is because of the endless updates/patches I have been afraid a mod would mess something up. When the patches come to an end (perhaps they have), then I'll start checking out the mods.
