I'd rather play H3 instead of H5. I couldn't care less about the "better balance", the "better skill system" and whatever you think is better in H5. The gameplay is pretty much the same, anyway.
As for H5's graphics, I'll tell you what, I wasn't a big fan of H4's graphics (still not a huge fan), but after seeing H5's graphics, I appreciate H4's graphics more.
I don't really see, what's that bad in H5(beside the editor), but understand why so many people didn't like H4. I've given H4 a chace and I found that can be enjoying. But I liked H5, from the first moments. And with TotE it got a stable game for me. As much as I care for graphics, both H4, and H5 satisfied me.
As final verdic I would say, that anyone has the right to like or to dislike anything, so for one who's unsure I would say to try the Demo, and if the one hasn't decided even after that, I would say to give it a shot, 'cos he might just like it.
