I imagine they mean 'unoccupied' boat.

Yes, one certainly wonders that. Seeing how there's two extra fifth level Mage Guild slots, always occupied by TP and DD, one could suspect that there's something special planned for them. Having them both in the same school, and giving that school more spells than any other, doesn't seem very wise.

Summoning Magic

Is the fact that the Summon Phoenix spell costs 20 spell points a misprint, or a fact? Shouldn't it belong to the fifth level if it costs 20 spell points? In fact, I think the cost of the summoning spells is a bit weird. A first level spell costing 8 spell points (land mine), and Resurrect as a fifth level spell costing 9...?

Hmm. Summon Elementals seems like a very handy spell for Dungeon heroes wanting to complete some elemental chains...

Oh, and Phantom seems very nifty! But maybe difficult to use to any effect. If you use it against the AI, it must be dumb enough not to take note of who's who, whihch could lead to an exploit. And vs another human player you would have to create a good deal to confuse the person. It does work well as a retaliation-taker I suppose, and as a blocker.

Note that this info arent 100% correct thers still 2-3 months before the game ships and spells, abilities, skills, creatures, towns, heroes and other features may still change. And I hope so, alot of thing need to be changed and/or improved in each of those sectors.

Summoning Magic

OK, so you may summon "Magic Fist". Looks like it somewhat similar to the one spell from the Warhammer world, when, as Orc, you had been able to call for "God's foot" to smash your enemies where they stayed. But here was the effect much greater and balanced with high level of inaccuracy .

@Symeon Star-Eyes

There are lots of spells that cost less than lower level ones,which is really weird.And I think that phantom will work like clone in HIII(have you noticed that its name is much more simmilar to phantom image in HIV than HIII?Does that mean that somemthing can leak through the law? :devil: )

Don't worry, there's still time to change it. :devil:

Phantom like clone in H3 has a lot of uses, from clone one full stack of high elf drop a dangerous attack without retaliation or copying one full stack of devils or nagas and atack with them. That is one more atack and you have one less atack to your own troops. Now a level 3 is great.

Is it just me, or does that Phoenix look peculiar? Its wings have a certain... reptilian look... they should be more feathery.

Yes, just as I suspected... this magic school also has a wavy-curly motif...

Seeing as there are 6 factions, and each will probably have it's own native terrain, i'd say both water and air will be summonable on land.

It syas it summons an elemental according to the battlefield terrain, not native terrain. Thats why i wonderd where should the battle take place to summon air elementals
