Here is a list of changes that will be included in the 1.1 version of LotA Book 1 . I took in account most of the feedback so far.

Code: Select all

Legends of the Ancients 1.1 Changelog

B1C1-------------------------------

Enemy heroes start at level 5

B1C2-------------------------------

Towns of Rija, Vitross and Nekorrum have more buildings

Enemy heroes (Player 2) start at level 10

Gauldoth can't go out of his fortress

The objects for the guilds' quests only appear after you get the quest

B1C3-------------------------------

Lysander only appears after 2 weeks

Enemy heroes start at level 7

B1C4-------------------------------

Two-ways portals have been replaced by one-way portals

The bag of endless gold is correctly removed after the "old man" quest

B1C5-------------------------------

Player 3's starting hero (Marcius) starts at level 21.

You can't go in the dwarven mines before beating Player 3 (no more "sequence breaking")

More dragons in the Dragon's Lair

B1C6-------------------------------

Enemy is overall stronger (more buildings in castles, heroes start at level 20)

Enemy Reinforcements appear after one month to spice up things.

Castle view in the pirate towns doesn't flicker anymore. (I linked the wrong file, d'oh !)

Due to popular demand, a boss has been added :)

Nice! I was wondering whether or not you're likely to add an upgrade for the Manticores in the Harbour town. If you'd like to, you can use my Scorpiore.

Hello all,

I just came back from holidays :) It seems we'll be a bit late for Book 2, it will be released in October rather than September. Both Jean-Mathias and I are quite busy in our real lives right now. Sorry to make you wait a little longer.

When/where is this version 1.1 available? I could only download v.1.0 here from CH.

Version 1.1 will be available very soon. Actually the french version is already ready and available for download on http://lota.celestialheavens.com/fr/

I only need proofreading on a couple of texts before uploading the english version. Thanks for your patience, it shouldn't be long now :)

No, unfortunately it won't. It wasn't made for TotE.

Book 2 will be for HoF, Book 3 and 4 will be for TotE. But right now I just don't have the time to finalize Book 2. It is almost done... it's incredibly frustrating to not be able to complete it. But it will come. I promise. I just can't say when... I wish I had more free time.

It won't be very long now. I (finally !) had time to work on Book 2 this week-end... It's back to maptesting, then I'll add the last artworks, and it will be good. If all goes well, you can expect the release near late-january/early-february, maybe sooner, but no promises ^^

You'll need Hammers of Fate patched to 2.1 to make it work.
Good game :)
