From Concept to Reality

Remember that old concept art from the "Nature" town? The 3D rendering of the image is as good as what I imagined. If only the Elves could come out of their homes to add a little atmosphere to the place.

Agree. Would be great to see some life in the different towns, have an on/off option for showing creature/villager animations.

Damn, probably eats up all the memory, but it's breathtaking!

I don't like the angle on it! And I belive I made my feeling on the graphics clear.
But it does look pretty good, all things considered.

Angle doesn't matter much :p - You can anyway rotate the camera all around, and also a bit up & down. ;)

I was talking about the up&down part, and the fact that it's not far enough.

Hmm, it's nice. But now, I don't know why, but I feel like it looked a bit better in 2D... Maybe it's nostalgia.

I certainly liked the Sorceress town from Heroes of Might and Magic 2 better than this look.

As said an on/off option for showing creature/villager animations would be a great addition.

Hum, I think the tree won't represent its magnitude being modelled that way. Looks like a trivial tree. For me, all the power of that town shrunk.
