Your Daily Routine

Unread postby Angelspit » 14 Feb 2006, 15:03

Which Heroes sites/forums do you visit when you sit in front of on the computer? And in which order? For me it's the following sequence:

1) CH Front Page
2) RT Active Threads
3) Ubisoft Forums
4) Age of Heroes
5) Heroes Community (never stay very long)

... and more.
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

Well the first thing I usually do when I get up is go to the bathroom. Then I brush my teeth, and...

Oh, not that kind of daily routine?

This is basically the only Heroes site I visit. Sometimes I visit HC but the people here are inifinitely better. :D

The thing is - since all of the news is linked directly here anyway, I almost never visit the CH main page anymore.

My post mysteriously disappeared when I was trying to delete a double post...

1) CH main page
2) RT active threads
3) (occasionally) Ubisoft's official Might and Magic site
4) (occasionally) MapHaven

I think CH has all the info I need. And the forums are a great place, too.

1. CH Forum. It's my browser's home page.
2. CH main page. Clicking the forum banner.

That's it, really - I rarely visit other forums. I have visited the Ubi forums of late, because of the upcoming game, but I don't usually do much of that. I'm a real homebody.

OK. Get ready... :p

1. As soon as I boot, my messengers (Y!M & GTalk) welcome me with some pop-up windows with new mails I got over night.
2. So I follow the links in the pop-ups (always work with at least two windows open).
3. If there are urgent mails - I answer
4. I read the news diagonally (politics & computers)
5. If there are links to PM's on forums, I follow them (either way, I anyway go to forums after that).
6. Go to Ubi forums.
7. Go to Genie's Lamp.
8. Go to some other forum (don't ask) :D
9. Go to beta forums.
10. Depending on how soon I run into a link to CH/RL link in one of the sigs in the forums listed above, I come here as well.:)
11. Visit a Romanian IT forum.
12. Randomly visit some other forum (Romanian Heroes forum, AoH, HC, Nival etc - mainly Heroes forums).

Beat that. :) (I bet only Fabrice can) :D

Well, there are not many.

The only Heroes-only dedicated site & forum belongs to Cipri, a RT member (I don't know if he's still active here lately), and you can find it here: http://www.theelf.lx.ro/. But there's not much activity there and not enough people passing by to encourage him to do more.

Then it's computergames.ro, which has a separate Heroes forum, and you can also find some pretty active threads on pixelrage.ro and jucaushii.ro.

That would be all AFAIK.

I know computergames bought the heroes.ro domain just before H4 came out. But the failure of the game and the huge drop of enthusiasm among the fans after that, made them abbandon all plans in that direction. Let's hope H5 will do better so that they reconsider it. Meanwhile you can check out Cipri's site. ;)

Edit: Okay, I'm not gonna post anything from now on for a while. I like this Galactic Gargle Blaster title. :D
Leprechaun & Peasant are just so lame, that even encourage spamming to get rid of them. Maybe Pixie & Scout should take their place, followed by some other low lvl creatures making a step back, to leave some room for so many high lvl creatures left out by this title system.
*grin*

*still avoiding to loose the title* :p

Well, if that's any comfort, it's both ways. :D I also don't understand a bit of what you meant by "Nebo ne?" :P

Strange though (for a RT moderator :p) that you only know me from other forums. I had over 500 posts at the old RT, before you moved to this new location. I just didn't post much lately, because I was too involved with the beta, and now I'm also moderator on another forum. But RT still remains my "first love" :) and I'll always be happy to pass by every now and then as there are a lot of very nice people here. ;)
