With a Wizard Slayer? That's an...unusual choice.

Doesn't really matter, unless you intend to solo. Playing something sub-optimal but amusing is good.

This is how you keep up that high posting-rate, is it; rewording someone elses post? How about thinking up something on your own to say? :tonguehands:

Oh yeah, I can't believe I forgot this. If you can still find it, I highly recommend the Darkest Day mod. It adds a lot of new kits and spells. It's an expansion on the original campaign and picks up mainly after you defeat Irenicus. I highly recommend it if you can find it.

I'm not sure if you can use the swindler anymore, but that kit was insane. The kit has an incredible boost to pick-pocket so all I had to do was go to the black market and sell/steal stuff. Never had to worry about money at any point in the game.

Try this link. Be forewarned; the site seems to have lost some stablity since 2002.

The new npcs in the game are somewhat boring and many of the additions (such as the ettin at the end of the first dungeon) make no sense. However, the added kits make up for it. I LOVE character generation.

What you people think of the games' music? Any favourites?

From out of the Storm (BG 1) is one of the best battle musics I've heard. The start of it is so sudden it catches player by surprise. Fire Giant's Volcano (ToB) is also my favourite.

The combat music (and music in general) is phenomenal in BGs anyway, though you don't always notice it unless you pause to listen them.

I'm glad you mentioned that last little bit, cause I also don't really notice it, but that's a good thing really, it means it's not annoying or intrusive, it does the job it's supposed to do IMO

Now that you mention it, I don't remember any of the music except for the menu screen, which was great hearing the Dunh-dunh-dunh-dunh.

Having finished the game over 5 times I can remember most tracks but especially main menu, romances and some areas. Only a few of the combat themes.
