Time to taste the Tribes

Unread postby Marzhin » 27 Sep 2007, 15:22

The demo for Heroes of Might and Magic V's second add-on, Tribes of the East, is now available for download on <a href="/http://www.fileplanet.com/180397/180000 ... ePlanet</a>. Be warned still that an horde of orcs weighs quite a bit : roughly 900 Mb in this case. Not to mention you'll have to endure a wait period of about 30 minutes if you aren't a subscriber.

Anyway, have fun and don't forget to leave your opinion about the demo !

There doesn't seem to be any mirror at the moment.

Yeah, I can't find any either. I'm currently downloading it, but it's a LOOOOOOONG process. 900+ MB is a monster of a file.

Just three minutes to go in the queue, and then a nine hour long wait...

Does somebody know how I can gain the activation code to get access to the second mission? On the Ubi site, there isn't any possiblity to activate this demo.

So how is it so far? I've decided not to download it until next week after I meet my deadlines due to a weak self-control and videogames.

I've been playing for some 20 minutes now and the new faction seems really enjoyable, though their special power (blood rage or whatsitcalled) need a bit looking into to really understand it. The creatures look good and the town fits the barbarian theme. The alternate upgrades are probably the most exciting aspect of the game, but it looks like we can't try them out for the other factions yet, or so it appears.
